RAAF Base Pearce upgrade
CPB Contractors has been selected by the Australian Department of Defence to deliver upgrades to RAAF Base Pearce to support the introduction of the new Boeing P-8A Poseidon aircraft into service.
Located about 35 kilometres north of Perth, RAAF Base Pearce will be an important Forward Operating Base for the P-8A Poseidon as it conducts maritime operations over the Indian and Southern Oceans.
The upgrade works includes the extension of runways, strengthening of taxiways and pavements and the provision of a new aircraft rinse facility.
Defence projects have strict security requirements and need to be delivered in active operational environments. CPB Contractors will work closely with the Department of Defence to deliver this project in accordance with all safety and security requirements.
Construction is scheduled for completion in early 2022.
CPB Contractors acknowledge the Whadjuk people as the traditional and continuing custodians of the lands on which the RAAF Base Pearce upgrade will be delivered.
