CPB Contractors is celebrating three of its own – Emma McCaughey, Heidi Propert, and Emma Kline - who were recognised with top honours in their respective categories at the 2023 NAWIC awards.
Emma McCaughey, Bid Manager for CPB Contractors QLD & PNG Business Unit, received the NAWIC QLD Diversity Award for her unwavering passion for fostering inclusion within the industry. Emma champions initiatives that empower women and diverse groups, actively shaping a more equitable construction landscape.
Heidi Propert, Design Manager on the Cross River Rail RIS project, was awarded the Achievement in Design Award. Her exceptional design expertise has been instrumental in delivering key Queensland projects like HQ Commercial Towers, QUT Gardens Point buildings, and the Boggo Road Station for Cross River Rail.
Emma Kline, Approvals, Environment and Sustainability Manager in Sydney, received the Contribution to Sustainability Award. Emma spearheaded the implementation of a NSW-first sustainability process for contamination management, minimising environmental impact and setting a new standard for project delivery.
