CPB Contractors has engaged with the NSW Government's Regional Industry Education Partnership (REIP) program, which connects industry with local Secondary Schools.
Through this partnership, CPB Contractors’ projects are further enhancing their engagement with local communities to support a skills and training legacy for our industry.
Each participating infrastructure project provides real-life workplace examples to enhance the school curriculum while also assisting students considering construction as a future career pathway.
The program also helps improve students’ career prospects through mentoring and coaching. Recently, CPB Contractors employees were invited to participate in a STEM building REIP workshop at Rooty Hill High School.
With a focus on mathematics, the workshop enabled local teachers to collaborate with industry experts and build lesson plans linked to real-life construction practices for grades 10, 11 and 12.
